A freelance journalist in the United States of America Papa Kwesi Dickson has stated that many American citizens are not enthused about  the swearing-in of the President-elect Donald Trump later today.

The President-elect’s victory to the presidency has raised many ill feelings amongst America citizens.

After his victory in December, many people hit the streets protesting against the elections describing him not the best person to rule the country.

Speaking on Ultimate Breakfast show hosted by Lantam Papanko, he explained that majority of the citizens see him as a ‘politically incorrect’ personality to run the office of the presidency and that he ran an unconventional campaign.

He envisaged that there will be series of protestations against the controversial President-elect today where the event will take place.

‘I am not going to speak with any prejudice because I am not an American but just observing pretty much like anybody else, but I can tell you for certain that not many people are enthused about the inauguration of Donald Trump, very few people saw this coming, but the day is here, just about some few hours he is going to be sworn-in. Its just a general feeling people have because you know he didn’t win the popular votes, but was carried by Hilary Clinton. There were protestations yesterday at the Trump’s Towers and today you can expect the largest protest also to grace his inauguration. The general feeling is that Trump was not the best person expected to emerge winner in this elections.

He stated that activities started in earnest yesterday ‘Most of the activities started yesterday, through from New York to Washington DC with couple of events’.
