She had been re-nominated by the President after serving out her first four-year term and all the 53 members of the assembly voted yes to keep her in the job.
This was in election supervised by the District Electoral Officer, Nana Kwame Agyekum.
The Deputy Brong-Ahafo Regional Minister, Mr. Justice Samuel Adjei, who was on hand to observe the election, applauded the assembly for the political maturity and unity.
He encouraged the members to continue to pull together to bring development to the people and transform their living conditions.
He said the expectation was that all would cooperate with and support the DCE to carry through the development agenda of the assembly.
Mad. Kusi said she was grateful and pledged not to disappoint.
She gave the assurance that she would work closely with everybody to tackle the felt needs of the people to make things better for all.
