Cameroonian powerhouse, CotonSport, are ready to make El-Kanemi forward, Thompson Ezekiel, their latest acquisition as they seek to fortify the team for domestic and continental assignments.
supersport.com learnt that the Garoua based side has since sent an invitation to the forward, who finished as top scorer for El-Kanemi last term.
The striker who is presently training with Premier League side, Enugu Rangers, confirmed the development.
?CotonSport saw me when El-Kanemi played a friendly match to mark their anniversary in Garoua. I like the set-up, but I?m yet to take a decision,? Thompson said to supersport.com
Former Kano Pillars forward, Joseph Atang Thompson entered the history books as the first Nigerian to play for the Garoua based side.
Founded in 1986, CotonSport has since eclipsed the older generation like Canon Yaounde and Tonnerre Kalara to become Cameroon?s most successful team with 11 league titles.
