Osei, 27, whose plea was not taken, would reappear on February 20.

Police Inspector Kingsley Kwaku Antwi told the court that on January 2 Osei, who lives with his mother Madam Eva Yeboah Akuffo demanded Gc10 to enable him travel to Accra, but she refused.

Osei threatened to kill his mother and his brother, Kwame Ketiwa and a report was made to the police and the accused was arrested and detained.
