Valley View University brings out new programmes

The Valley View University is to introduce 12 new programmes in response to the demands of the job market, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Daniel Bediako, has said.

He said the programmes would include Midwifery, Mental Health, Natural Resources, Environmental and Waste Management.

Prof. Bediako was speaking at a graduation ceremony of the university in Techiman in the Brong-Ahafo Region.

A total of 1,250 students graduated with 774 being females with bachelor and post graduate degrees.

Prof Bediako asked the graduates to portray the core values of the institution which include integrity and hard work and be innovative wherever they may find themselves.

Pastor Peter Agyekum-Boateng, the Acting Rector of the Techiman Campus, said 17 under-graduate and one post graduate programmes were being run by the school.
