Ho based Volta Amalgamated Tuesday called for support from people in the Volta region to remain in the National Ladies Premiership.
Mr Foster Kudiabor, Bankroller and Coach of the Team told the GNA ?things are tough and we urgently need support to keep going.?
?We need people to come on board. Things are tough. I am the Bankroller, the Coach, Chairman and Secretary,? Mr Kudiabor lamented and said, ?we need help.?
He was hopeful that if the Team gets a few experienced players to beef-up its bench, it could improve on its position on the league table.
Mr Kudiabor expressed gratitude to Togbe Adzani IV, Chief of Ziavi-Dzogbe and Mr Joe Ayivor, Director of Afe Lotto for their financial supports to the Team.
He also commended supporters of the Team who remained behind the Team irrespective of the ?hard times.?
?Our Team has been enjoying good home support and we are grateful,? Mr Kudiabor said.
Volta Amalgamated drew two matches and lost three but hopes to return to winning ways when the league resumes in two weeks.
