Abdul Majeed Waris scored to help his side Hacken move to second place in Sweden
Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris scored his fifth goal of the season for BK Hacken on Wednesday as they defeated newly promoted Atvidaberg 3-0.
The 20-year-old scored Hacken’s third goal in the 87th minute at the Kopparvallen in the Swedish Allsvenskan.
Waris popped up in the box to receive a through pass from a team-mate to come one-on-one with the Åtvidaberg goalkeeper to beautifully finish off.
He is now joint-top scorer with 5 goals from seven games.
The win moves Hacken to second place, five points behind leaders Elfsborg.
