Immigration authorities in Zambia have arrested 30 prohibited immigrants for various immigration offenses during operations conducted over the weekend, an immigration spokesperson said on Tuesday.
The prohibited immigrants were arrested during operations conducted in various parts of the country, according to Immigration Department Spokesperson Namati Nshinka.
He said 19 prohibited immigrants were arrested in Lusaka, the country’s capital, during clean-up operation while 11 were arrested in other parts of the country.
The offenses range from human trafficking to unlawful entry into the country, he said in a statement. Enditem
