XThe mother of 7 who was identified as Deaconess Eunice Olawole met her death while preaching the gospel in the area as she was known to do.

He said at about 6:30am, their two sons came home to break the news of a woman who was killed.
According to him, his sons, who had earlier gone to play soccer suggested that they go check who it was.
His words: “She goes out every morning for morning cry, which means when you wake up in the morning, take megaphone and preach.
“My wife goes out to preach between 5am to 6am. On Saturday she went out the same time, around 6:30am, two of my children used to go out to play football at a field nearby, my children came back and told me that they heard some footballers saying that a woman preaching this morning was killed and her megaphone was still there, the cut her head and her legs.
“I told my children it can’t be there mother, but they insisted we should go there and check, I wore my cloth and went there, when we got there, we didn’t see anybody, they have even covered her blood with sand”.
He said a policeman confirmed the incident adding that the remains of the woman was taken to Phase 4 Police Station, Kubwa.
“I immediately rushed to my house, drove to the police station with two of my children, as we were entering the police gate, a pickup Van was coming out, and I saw my wife at the back of the pickup Van, at this point, I and my children bursted into tears”.
Meanwhile, the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Commissioner of Police, CP Alkali Baba Usman has ordered the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (CIID)to lead a discreet investigation into the murder of the deceased.
He confirmed the arrest of Six (6) suspects who are in connection with the gruesome murder adding that they are in Police custody and currently undergoing interrogation.
The CP commiserated with the family members of the deceased over the unfortunate incident and assured them and other residents of the area of the commitment and determination of the Command to fish-out perpetrators of the heinous crime.
He reaffirmed that contrary to reports from some sections of the media that the deceased’s head and leg were chopped-off, he said:”the Command wants to state that apart from marks of injury inflicted on some parts of her body, all parts of the deceased body are intact. The Police has taken custody of her remains for preservation and examination.”
