Students of the African University College of Communication (AUCC), Ghana?s premier communications university, last Thursday engaged students of the Zenith University a fierce public debate over the performance of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG). The debate was on the motion; ?Has ECG over 57 years acquitted itself effectively and efficiently??

The AUCC team made up of Angline Naa Laryea and Nana Sekyere of Discovery and Adinkra Halls respectively spoke against the motion and successfully convinced the listening public who were the judges that the performance of the ECG over the years leaves much to be desired.

The debate was organised by XFM 95.1 a private radio station in Accra.

The victory was very timely as it came at a time the institution?s Students Representative Council (SRC) was marking their annual SRC Week.

The Spy Ghana team wishes to congratulates AUCC for their victory in the debate.
