Santos and Chippa United will be looking to stay in contention for promotion to the PSL when they clash in a playoff fixture at Cape Town Stadium on Sunday.
The pair of Mother City clubs find themselves well off the pace of Mpumalanga Black Aces in the mini-league. AmaZayoni boast six points, while Santos and Chippa both have just a point each.
If the two sides play to a draw, as they did when they met in the first match at the start of the playoffs, then it will all but hand Aces a place in the Absa Premiership next season.
Both the People?s Team and the Chilli Boys come into the match off the back of defeats to Aces.
Santos were beaten 2-1 by the Mpumalanga club on Thursday evening, while Chippa suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Jacob Sakala?s team in their last outing.
If one of these Cape sides is to have any hope of avoiding a repeat of this derby in the National First Division next season, then they simply must claim the three points on offer and keep themselves in the running for promotion.
