Group: Sack Diezani

The National Youth for Good Governance (NYGG) has called for the immediate sack of Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison-Madueke as a step towards sanitizing the activities of the petroleum sector.
“The recent report submitted by the House of Representatives committee probing the oil sector indicted the minister alongside other prominent Nigerians, thereby making her morally unfit to continue administering the activities of the ministry,” President of the group Chia Shisha said.
While calling on the Federal Government not to sweep the report under the carpet, the group called for the prosecution of all those indicted as a way of justifying the fight against corruption in the country.
