The President, John Evans Fiifi Atta- Mills has been urged to remain focused and not be distracted by the current impasse going on in his party, the NDC.
The NDC has been rocked with series of in-house problems, making the party seemingly loosing grips of some of its top gurus, including the Rawlings family, founders and ?sole pillars? of the party.
The whip that broke the camel?s back was the recent media revelation and subsequent confirmation by some top executives of the party that they have broken away from the NDC to form a new party, the National Democratic Party, NDP, with full support of the Rawlings?.
But in the midst of all these confusion, the President has been urged to remain calm and concentrate on his mandated duty.
Two members of the Clergy, Prophet Benjamin Amoako of the King Jesus Prayer Ministry and Postle Samuel Kobina Arthur also of the Cross of Salvation all in Agona Swedru? who gave the advice in an exclusive interview described the situation as a test for the president, and asked him to seek for the intervention of God.
According to them, former President Rawlings may be embittered with a justifiable reason and the onus lies on president Mills as a son to approach former president Rawlings and iron out their differences.
According to the Clergymen, this reconciliation process must be instituted by the party before election 2012, or else it will cost the party dearly.
